Ah, so cute! The emotions were so intense, with the unique changes in camera angle, the clarity of the shadows, and even the bright pink color of the mouths. I especially enjoyed how the screen was often split so two angles were shown at once. I don't think I have ever seen that technique before-- I wish I thought of that haha. Although this is short, it is beautiful.
And when L sat down in his signature position and stuck his head through the bars. . .

To anyone having trouble with shape recognition, draw slowly to produce circles, a medium speed to produce rectangles, and a fast to produce lines.
Very interesting and challenging game. I would like to see this improved.

Yes, I did cry just a little. The part in the park was gloriously emotional. And I like the symbolism: the necklace, the race at the end. This is interesting because there are many themes that may be drawn, based on how you interpret Brian's wish.
Also, I voted 5, not 4 like the poster said. haha.

I like the irony of this flash: lonely people are not alone; many people understand this emotion.
The whole flash was amazingly symbolic. The difference in drawing and animation styles shows how widespread loneliness is. Everyone felt lonely, but they felt it in different ways and places, showing their isolation.

like the song!
I thought this was funny, especially "Severus!" I could tell which words you "misheard" because they didn't make sense in context, but I couldn't distinguish what the singer really was saying, so good job "mishearing".
However, the pictures got boring and would have been more entertaining if this was actually animated. And when the song repeated, the visuals should have at least been different.

Thanks for the compliments! :)
You're right about it getting repetitive.. Especially the drummer, I think. Reason I didn't animate was because I thought it was funny if I used images I found on the web, like 'how'd you find an image to fit with those lyrics' kind of funny.

haha That is a good temporary solution to the unfortunate problem of emo invasion, but I think this product is more likely to increase the emoness of emos.
(I'm not really anti-emo; some people need to express their sadness.)
That was really funny. I enjoyed how it parodied real TV commercials, like the testimonial.

The animation of the water looked amazingly liquid. I also liked the mouse squeezing into the house. Although the house looked a little small for it.
Why did the mouse push the house away at the end?

For graphics, I thought Sleeping Meadows was so pretty! In a lot of these type of games, graphics are uninteresting. People forget to enjoy the beauty of the world.
There was also a little humor, which I liked. I laughed when the guy in Tatapolis pointed out that he had two beds.
I was wondering, does anything really happen when you kill 14 Lurks in a row? Once I went back to Dreamwood Forest to try it but I decided to get back on task with killing elementals.
You could make the game harder by making items that you can only collect once. For example, to get all the M-rald, you could exit and re-enter the cave and get the same one over again.
Author's Response:
hah, I'm glad you enjoyed the graphics and the humor : ) - Nothing actually happens when you kill 14 Lurks in a row, I just wanted to see if people would actually do it hehe.

I never think it's necessary to have tutorials about how Newgrounds works. I don't know if any newbs actually watch these to learn how to use the site, and I think part of the interest of using the internet comes from discovering things without direct tutorials.
Anyway though, it's nice that you themed your flash like website. The buttons and text fields looked like these, and the Endless Handbag Loop was a good touch.
Author's Response:
well, maybe you think so. You don't how that every day, more and more users are signing up?
They waddle around and There are a lot of tutorials in NG for how to start your account,
but this is more for the userpage.
Think about it, maybe you are not a newb, but there are tons of newbs in newgrounds!
Seriously.

The animation style was kind of strange, which added to its emotion. For example, when the different guy was walking down the line of smiling people, things were moving at weird angles, which made the guy seem more troubled and unusual. The message that people are safer when they fit in was strong and clear.
